International audience ; This essay addresses transdisciplinarity as a response to the challenges faced in an investigation on theteaching-learning process of Portuguese as a heritage language in France, mediated by the reading of comics(CALDEIRA, 2021). Namely, it conjugates Cognitive Linguistics theories such as Conceptual Integration(FAUCONNIER; TURNER, 2002), categorization and recategorization in L2 (LITTLEMORE, 2015), and IdealizedCognitive Models (LAKOFF, 1987) with psycholinguistics, second language acquisition, and linguisticanthropology. Thanks to the transgression of disciplinarity borders, a methodology of data crystallization wasdeveloped, based on the one proposed by Richardson (2018), in which each element of the corpus acted asone of the facets present in the coconstruction of understandings relative to the research questions. ; Este ensaio aborda a transdisciplinaridade propiciada pela Linguística Cognitiva, nomeadamente pelas teorias da Integração Conceptual (FAUCONNIER; TURNER, 2002); categorização e recategorização em L2 (LITTLEMORE, 2015) e Modelos Cognitivos Idealizados (LAKOFF, 1987), como resposta aos desafios enfrentados em uma investigação sobre o processo de ensino-aprendizagem do português como língua de herança na França, mediado pela leitura de histórias em quadrinhos (CALDEIRA, 2021). Graças à conjugação de teorias que conversam com a LC, foi desenvolvida uma metodologia de cristalização de dados, com base no proposto por Richardson (2018), na qual cada elemento do corpus atuou como uma das facetas presentes na coconstrução dos entendimentos gerados na pesquisa.
