نبذة مختصرة : The exposure to risks is something imminent and believable to happen in any activity, beyond that, its seriouness is that will define the proportion of the accidents caused by them, as well as the impact on those involved. In the Exploration and Production (E&P) of oil and natural gas, the most of the accidents are of high gravity, because have their impacts reflected in the environmental issue, atacking the environment in the case of spills of substances at sea, for example, also have an impact on the financial question, since they involve great economic losses for the industries of the sector, in addition to the situations considered even more serious, when the occurrence of deaths of the workers involved in these activities. Based on this premise, the present work will have analysis of the risk management in the activities of this sector practiced in the period between 2006 and 2014 in Brazil; the analyse will be directed to the observation of the history of accidents occurring, executing analyzes of descriptive statistics and time series to note how the accidents related to E&P operations behaved, therefore, will be made predictions to verify the future ocurrences of each type of accident, mainly ascertaining whether the trend indicated in the period of the observed datas will remain unchanged or will change will passing years.
