نبذة مختصرة : This study was carried out in Carlow, Ireland from August 2007 - August 2009 to investigate nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from a spring barley field under different soil management regimes using a static closed chamber technique. Treatments consisted of 2 management regimes: conventional tillage and reduced tillage with a mustard cover crop, and 3 nitrogen fertilizer application rates. Soil characteristics, net N transformations, microbial assays and grain yield were also measured in relation to N2O flux. In addition the DeNitrification- Decomposition (DNDC) model was validated with the field emission measurements. ; TARA (Trinity?s Access to Research Archive) has a robust takedown policy.
