      Distance education has, so far, mainly been implemented for remote target groups needing continuing education. More and more, we find basic education being offered for remote groups. Eventually, we find distance education models being introduced for full-time in-campus students as well. So, what is happening now is, what we never believed: `The university student turns into a distance education student'.
