نبذة مختصرة : This issue brings together texts from projects carried out as part of the PSDR 4 Programme, under the aegis of INRAE and 10 French Regions ; International audience ; The Cap IDF project aims to understand the logics of localization and diversification of proximity farming activities close to urban poles in the Ile-de-France region. In this perspective, the project is based on an analysis of land governance of these farming activities by comparing the strategies of farmers, the attitude of landowners, the relations of residents to agriculture and the local public choices concerning land development. Our research investigates the dynamics of land diversification on farms, a trend which can be characterised by rapid changes. The project innovates by proposing an original perspective on land governance. We combine the study of various dimensions: economic strategies of farmers, practices of periurban residents and the implementaton of local public land management. Our research has highlighted dynamics concerning the relocalization of farming activities in the Parisian metropolitan region, although it is predominantly characterised by field crops. Our work also helped a better understanding of competitions between activities on farmland uses in a metropolitan region. Lastly, our project identified and analysed innovations in farmland governance likely to change relations between local stakeholders.
