نبذة مختصرة : The following study aims to determine the relationship between Information and Communication Technologies (ICT's) and poverty for the case of Latin America, during the period 2005 - 2019, oriented on two fundamental pillars around ICT's, such as: access and use, in addition to the poverty line as an explained variable. Each variable is compared in detail through statistical tables and graphs, making it possible to see its evolution over the study period. Due to its panel data approach, a random effects model based on the generalized least squares model is used, which, together with economic theory, recommends variables of importance both in terms of use and access to ICTs for this type of analysis; The control variable is public social spending, and by detailing each of the variables in depth, a positive and significant relationship is established at 99% reliability level between ICT's and poverty in Latin America, within the countries with the greatest effectiveness in both access and use of ICT's are Argentina, Brazil and Mexico as the most connected with about 70% and the countries most affected by poverty are Guatemala, Honduras and Dominican Republic below the poverty line represented with less than $ 2. 20 per day.
