      The present article introduces some reflections on continuous teacher training, originating from the results from research conducted between 2010 and 2020, within the public university scope. The focus of this text is concentrated on the continuous teacher training actions promoted by the municipal education system of Rio de Janeiro (SME/RJ) and the schools which integrate it, aimed at its teachers, in particular, for those who join the system. We attempt to analyze those actions in dialogue with authors who discuss this area, such as: Gatti, Barreto e André (2011); Maués (2003), Nóvoa (1991), Zeichner (1998) Diniz-Pereira (2010). The methodological procedures sought to meet the objectives and specificities of each of the research and, among the resources for data gathering, are questionnaires, interviews and observation, in addition to consulting documents. We understand the continuous training as an integral part of the teaching work, that can promote professional development. The research pointed to the importance of continuous training, thought of in a perspective that has teaching work as a central category. They also pointed to the lack of continuity of the training actions promoted by the education system and to a fragility in terms of transforming these actions into public policies, since, often, they are limited to an administrating group that works with the periodicity of a government, limited by the time of municipal elections. ; Cet article présente quelques réflexions sur la formation continue des enseignants, issues des résultats de recherches menées entre les années 2010 et 2020, dans le cadre d'une université publique. L'objectif de ce texte est dirigé vers les actions de formation continue proposées par le système d'éducation municipal de Rio de Janeiro (SME/RJ) et par les écoles qui l'intègrent, destinées aux enseignants qui y travaillent, en particulier ceux qui viennet de comencer dans le Réseau.
