نبذة مختصرة : YOU ASKED. WE LISTENED! Suggestion: Library should have at least one textbook for the course in the library not to borrow but for reference. Answer: The mission of any library is to support the University programs and classes with additional materials for study - not to provide required reading material. Faculty choose the textbooks for all classes and are able to use material from those books freely because students are required to purchase the same textbook. If students do not purchase the material then faculty could be violating copyright without even knowing it. A suggestion you might want to consider would be to contact your instructor to see if he/she might be able to place a copy on library reserve for a short period of time to assist you until such time as you might be able to obtain your own copy of the textbook. Thank you for your interest in the library's collection and we hope you take advantage of the many resources we do have available to students the next time you are in the library.
