نبذة مختصرة : This article analyzes texts of the genre online comment (129 comments) that thematize the identity of trans* people. The comments are responses to a text from Portal G1 about the promulgation of Decree No. 8.727, about the use of social name by transvestites and transsexuals in federal public agencies. The analysis was epistemologically anchored in studies on social identity and in writings of the Bakhtin Circle, especially the concepts of appreciative horizon, valuation and dialogism. The results point to a negative and derogatory position regarding the identity of trans* people, anchored in religious/moralizing discourses; denial of trans* identity; political positioning ; Este artigo analisa textos do gênero comentário online (129 comentários) acerca da identidade de pessoas trans*. Os comentários são reações-respostas a notícia publicada no Portal G1 sobre a promulgação do Decreto Nº 8.727, que dispõe sobre o uso do nome social por travestis e transexuais em órgãos públicos federais. A análise ancorou-se epistemologicamente nos estudos sobre identidade social e nos escritos do Círculo de Bakhtin, especialmente os conceitos de horizonte apreciativo, valoração e dialogismo.
