نبذة مختصرة : Quantum mechanics as dealt with by standard textbooks is solely concerned with inertial frames of references while most of the physical systems are non-inertial. In this review, we will examine various quantum mechanical systems to understand how the wave function, Schrodinger equation, and physical variables change as the system transitions from an inertial frame to a non-inertial one. We find gauge transformations for wave functions that aid in treating the non-inertial frames as inertial. Physical variables and effective potential may or may not adopt new forms in the altered frame, depending on the coordinate transformation. Gauge transformations are quite similar to coordinate transformations. Analysis using classical mechanics assists in determining the type of gauge transition needed for a particular coordinate transformation. We look into the applications of phase shifts arising due to various couplings in the non-inertial transformations in quantum systems. The same is investigated from ...
