نبذة مختصرة : Receipt for the care of Lydia Tuttle, one of the poor of New Paltz: In this document, we find the Overseers of the Poor at New Paltz, Abraham Lefever and Petrus Lefever farming out to the lowest bidder one of the poor in the town, Lydia Tuttle. The Overseers explain that Lydia will need to be kept from May 1767 for one year. Lydia will need to be provided with food, drink, lodging, and clothing. Abraham Levefer is the lowest bidder, and will maintain her for the one year, as promised, for the sum of 20 pounds.
