Existe un diseño serial?

Argentina. ; En este artículo nos preguntamos por la utilidad del concepto de serie, originado en el ámbito de la música del siglo veinte, a partir de Arnold Schönberg, para designar una actitud epistemológica compartida o experimentada por el diseño, si lo consideramos a este, no solo como una práctica profesional, sino, como una práctica teórica (como parte de una ciencia de lo artificial) en su fase o estado de mayor auto- consciencia. Entenderemos esta actitud serial, como motivo, a su vez, del tipo de conocimiento que el propio acto de diseñar puede producir, sobre el mundo y sobre sí mismo. ; In this article we ask for the usefulness of the concept of series, originated in the field of music of the twentieth century, from Arnold Schönberg, to designate an epistemological attitude shared or experienced by the design; if we consider it not only as a professional practice, but as a theoretical practice (as part of a science of the artificial) in its phase or stage of greater self-awareness. We will understand this serial attitude, as an element of the type of knowledge that the act of design itself can produce, on the world and on itself.
