نبذة مختصرة : The article presents Pedagogy of the Life Cycle, as an educational proposition in the area of Environmental Education, which aims to work on studies on the life cycles of materials and consumer products and their social and environmental impacts. The proposal focuses on the acquisition and production of knowledge about processes, impacts and flows of natural, human and material resources related to the production, distribution and disposal of consumer goods, and seeks to relate them to economic, social and environmental factors. cultural. It is a proposition in tune with the intentions of a critical and emancipatory environmental education, dedicated to the production of knowledge, in a complex and contextual perspective, and the adoption of attitudes aimed at the conservation of natural resources, quality of life and social justice . This pedagogy seeks to develop the intelligence, creativity, ingenuity and ethical personality of students so that they are able to propose and implement alternatives for consumption and production that are more environmentally sustainable, socially more just and economically viable.
