نبذة مختصرة : Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je istaknuti određene geometrijske teme koje se protežu na matematičkim natjecanjima sve od 4. razreda osnovne škole pa do 4. razreda srednje škole. U radu je prikazan kratak osvrt na povijest geometrije, njenu prisutnost u Nacionalnom okvirnom kurikulumu te je dan pregled zadataka koji su se tijekom godina javljali na natjecanjima. Na samom kraju prikazana je analiza uspješnosti riješavanja geometrijskih zadataka na državnom natjecanju za osnovnu, odnosno srednju školu, održanom u školskoj godini 2022./2023. ; The goal of this master’s thesis is to highlight specific geometric themes that are present in mathematical competitions from the 4th grade of elementary school to the 4th grade of high school. The thesis provides a brief overview of the history of geometry, its presence in the National Curriculum Framework, and offers an overview of problems that have appeared in competitions over the years. Finally, it presents an analysis of the success rate in solving geometric problems at the national competition for elementary and high school students held during the 2022/2023 school year.
