Early childhood education, the first stage of Basic Education, is the child's development phase. This work aims to show the importance of playfulness in child development in the classroom. This research is bibliographical and qualitative in nature, and its general objective is to analyze the importance of playfulness in the pedagogical practice of teaching and learning children in early childhood education. The research was developed through works already published, such as: Monographs, Theses and Articles that deal with the importance of working with the ludic in the classroom. Some theorists who supported this research were: Winnicott (1982), Vygotsky (1991), Chateau (1987), among others. With this research, it was possible to observe that playfulness is essential in the teacher's pedagogical practice for the development of the student in a pleasant way, pointing out that the teacher must work with games and games in his classroom so that the student can develop effectively. and autonomous. ; La educación infantil, primera etapa de la Educación Básica, es la fase de desarrollo del niño. Este trabajo pretende mostrar la importancia de la lúdica en el desarrollo infantil en el aula. Esta investigación es de carácter bibliográfico y cualitativo, y tiene como objetivo general evaluar la importancia de la lúdica en la práctica docente y en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de los niños de educación infantil. La investigación se desarrolló a través de trabajos ya publicados, tales como: Monografías, Tesis y Artículos que tratan sobre la importancia de trabajar la lúdica en el aula. Algunos teóricos que sustentaron esta investigación fueron: Winnicott (1982), Vygotsky (1991), Chateau (1987), entre otros.
