      The article is relevant in connection with the search for effective management of educational institutions in the context of modernisation of the industry and changes in the value orientations of society and the individual. Its purpose is to scientifically substantiate the ways to improve the management of a general education institution in the context of the modernisation of the educational system of Ukraine. The principles of axiological issues in education are studied and the axiological approach is defined as a strategy aimed at improving the educational system and increasing its efficiency. The development of an axiological paradigm of education will unlock the potential and fill Ukrainian education with content, providing a strategy and prospects for the development of the pedagogical system. The axiological approach becomes a mechanism that provides a link between the theory and practice of management, and helps to overcome the static-descriptive approach in pedagogy. ...
