Assessing natural and landscape values in regonal development ; Természeti adottságok szerepe a területfejlesztésben a komplex programmal fejlesztendő magyarországi járások esetében

The development of regions and settlements today is evaluated solely by economic and social indicators by official statistics. Landscape and natural indicators do not participate in the system of comparing the development of regions and settlements. Most of our areas with valuable natural potential are disadvantaged in terms of their economic and social status. Our research focused on how these areas live with the opportunities offered by the natural environment during their development? What improvements are planned and how do they relate to ecosystem services provided by their natural potentials? In the course of the research, we proceeded from the data of the CORINE land cover indicators and the complex indicator of the socio-economic and infrastructural development of the regions managed by the Central Statistical Office. With the help of these, we have identified the areas under research, for which we analysed the implemented EU development projects of the 2007-2013 cycle and the future ideas of the settlements examined. It is clear from the research that the researched settlement level was able to enforce the economic use of the opportunities provided by the natural environment in the field of tourism and that this topic area is also among the first in their future development ideas. ; A térségek, települések fejlettségét ma kizárólag gazdasági és társadalmi mutatók mentén értékeli a hivatalos statisztika. A táji és természeti mutatók nem vesznek részt a térségek és települések fejlettségét egymáshoz viszonyító rendszerben.
