      In the 1990s, the Museum updated the "dinosaur hall" [Hall 38] and moved the scientific specimens from Hall 38 to Hall 29 on the east side of the second floor. The Mesohippus diorama was composed of 6 Mesohippus figures. When the diorama was deinstalled in the 1990s, each figure had its own protective crate constructed. Shown in the image is just one Mesohippus model that was brought to floor level to be photographed for this project. Figure by artist Frederick Blaschke.
