Introduction: Multiprofessional Residencies in Health, as a proposal for professional education in services, have been widely recognized for promoting qualified training and greater interaction between professionals, in search of ensuring better results in patient care. Objective: To describe, in the perception of Nursing and Dentistry preceptors, the process of implementing the Multidisciplinary Residency in Adolescent Health in Primary Health Care (REMSA)/Universidade Federal São João del-Rei until its consolidation, in the Health Unit (US) in which it was implemented, in the municipality of Divinópolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The REMSA implementation path involved strategic planning, team training, adaptation of physical structures and integration with the community. Complicating factors include inadequate infrastructure, inexperience/lack of knowledge on the part of the professional in preceptorship and the reduced working hours of professional preceptors. Conclusion: The implementation of REMSA in PHC represents a relevant milestone in the search for improving care and health promotion for this population. There is a greater bond between adolescents/families and the health team, as well as a greater supply and demand for health services, in addition to strengthening interprofessional teamwork. The need for qualification to exercise preceptorship is identified, thus contributing to better training and interprofessional action in health. ; Introducción: Las Residencias Multiprofesionales en Salud, como propuesta de ...
