نبذة مختصرة : The religiosity of the Moroccan community in Extremadura cannot be understood without describing the figure of the imam and analyzing the role it plays in the diaspora in a transnational context. They are "voices of authority" within the Moroccan community in the region because of their religious and social roles. Hence the importance of this ethnographic approach to this category, approximating its discourse and its perception regarding the social and cultural reality in a migratory context. It is about "ethnographing" the relationship of this figure with other categories such as the Muslim community, young people, and gender and with events such as terrorism and so on. Obviously, in our opinion, without an ethnographic approach of the imams of the mosques, the religion or religious experiences of this group could not be understood in anthropological keys, nor the pitfalls of the integration process of this minority in the West in general and in Extremadura in particular. ; No se puede entender la religiosidad del colectivo marroquí en Extremadura sin describir la figura del imán y analizar el papel que desempeña en la diáspora en un contexto transnacional. Los imanes son “voces de autoridad” dentro de la comunidad marroquí musulmana en la región por sus roles religiosos y sociales. De ahí viene la importancia de esta aproximación etnográfica de esta categoría aproximando su discurso y su percepción respecto a la realidad social y cultural en un contexto migratorio. Se trata de “etnografiar” la relación de esta figura con otras categorías como la comunidad musulmana, los jóvenes, el género y con hechos como el terrorismo etc. Evidentemente, a nuestro juicio, sin una aproximación etnográfica de los imanes de las mezquitas no se pude entender en claves antropológicas la religión ni las vivencias religiosas de este colectivo tampoco los escollos del proceso de integración de esta minoría en Occidente en general y en Extremadura en particular.
