This research article aims to understand the knowledge and practices linked to the construction of intergenerational memory on the armed conflict in Nariño, Argelia, and Sonson (Antioquia). From a qualitative perspective and using a social cartography approach, workshops, interviews, and discussions were held. Young people who did not experience the armed conflict and surviving adults, including victims and perpetrators of the war’s rigors,participated in the talks. Letter writing between young people and peace signatories was facilitated, and the meeting between both communities was also supported. The results of the investigation emphasize, firstly, writing as a practice that allows young people to link their family histories with the social narratives of the country; secondly, intergenerational memory as a process that positions young people as memory entrepreneurs in their territory and contributes to healing the wounds of their lineage; and thirdly, truth as a condition of reconciliation that enters into discussion between subjective expectations, events, and their meanings. Finally, this experience highlights the importance of intergenerational memory through interaction that allows us to know the past, understand the present, and plan for the future. ; Este artículo de investigación se orienta a comprender los saberes y las prácticas vinculadas a la construcción de memoria intergeneracional sobre el conflicto armado en Nariño, Argelia y Sonsón (Antioquia). Desde una perspectiva cualitativa y un enfoque de cartografía social se realizaron talleres, entrevistas y conversatorios. En ellos participaron jóvenes que no vivieron el conflicto armado en sus territorios y adultos que vivieron los rigores de la guerra como víctimas o responsables.
