Köpeklerde prostat hastalıklarının klinik değerlendirmesi ; Clinical evaluation or prostate diseases in dogs

İnsanlarda olduğu gibi erkek köpeklerde de prostat bezine ilişkin problemlere sıklıkla rastlanmaktadır. Özellikle prostat hiperplazisi 5 yaşından büyük köpeklerin, bazılarında klinik bulgu göstermese de, % 60'ında şekillenmektedir. Bu çalışmada 3 yıl içinde kliniğe getirilen 10 erkek köpek, prostat hastalıkları yönünden incelenmiş, bunlardan 7'sinde prostat hiperplazisi, 2'sinde prostat tümörü, 1'inde prostat kisti, prostat tümörlü köpeklerden birisinde ayrıca prostat taşları saptanmıştır. Klinik ve radyolojik olarak tanısı konulan bu hastalıkların medikal ve operatif sağaltımları yapılarak sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. ; The problems of prostates are observed frequently in male dogs as in men. Although especially the hyperplasy of prostate do not exhibit any clinical symptoms in some of the dogs older then five years old, it is seen in 60 % of them. In this work, 10 male dogs brought to the clinic during last three years were studied in respect of the prostate diseases. 7 of them had prostate hyperplasy, 2 of them had neoplasme, one of them had prostate cyste and one of them had a neoplasme of prostate together with calculus of prostates. The diseases were diagnosed by clinical and radiological examinations. They were treated by medical and surgical ways and the results were evaluated.
