Food orality is a function that develops from intra-uterine life and thanks to the experiences encountered during childhood. Various difficulties can arise and interfere with its development, which can lead to Pediatric Feeding Disorders (PFDs). There manifestations can be in different ways, and be accompanied by difficulties in the psychomotor, sensory, behavioral and/or relational domains. While these disorders are well documented in children, it’s different for adults, thus impacting their care. Our study sought to evaluate the effect of multisensory care, non-foody and foody, with an adult patient with PFDs who had never been treated. We also evaluated whether this treatment improved quality of life and allowed the enlargement of the food inventory. We have implemented a protocol, from assessment to care, based on the principles of neurosensory integration. The analysis of the results showed that the multisensory care could improve the PFDs, but also the quality of life. On the other hand, it also makes it possible to broaden the food inventory. In agreement with other studies, our research has allowed us to realize that there is an important link between the senses and food. Faced with PFDs, multi-sensory care is often necessary in order to desensitize and lead to habituation of all the senses related to food.
