O Almanaque do Globo: o primeiro veículo de comunicação impressa da Livraria do Globo como processo de difusão da cultura de almanaque no Rio Grande do Sul (1917-1933). ; The Almanaque do Globo: the first printed communication vehicle of Livraria do Globo as a process of diffusion of almanac culture in Rio Grande do Sul (1917-1933).

This dissertation is the result of an analysis made on the printing of the Almanaque do Globo, the first editorial project of Livraria do Globo, in Porto Alegre, seeking to show it as a diffuser of social and political culture through written and printed culture in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in the first half of the 20th century. Obtaining as an analysis this source object, the Almanaque do Globo was used to understand and detail, through its 17 editions produced from 1917 to 1933, its relevance on the space occupied by this form in society, establishing its insertion in the most diverse branches and classes of the Rio Grande society. Created in 1883 in the city of Porto Alegre, Livraria do Globo has always had as its purpose the diffusion of culture beyond its globe, from its local perspective and, in the face of this, promoted in 1917 the launching of its first and main editorial project, o Almanaque do Globo. The research is in the field of History of Education, however, a theoretical scope is sought in the perspective of other scientific subdivisions, such as Contemporary Philosophy, South-Rio Grande Literature and Cultural History. The theoretical-methodological framework of the present dissertation is then crossed by an interdisciplinary theme, seeking to study and understand the production of the main categories that compose the Almanaque do Globo, such as: Literature, Education for the field and editorial proposal. It was tried to detail its diverse forms of analysis, considering that the Almanaque do Globo is also characterized as an object of scientific analysis.
