نبذة مختصرة : The aim of the article is to reveal the meaning, potential and possibilities of digital inclusion in cultural industries. To achieve this aim, the author used the dialectical method, necessary for the cultural studies implementation, as well as general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis. Research results. It is emphasised that the relationship between digital technologies, innovation and diversity in the cultural and creative industries is an extremely important research topic, given the importance of online channels for attracting audiences in the post-pandemic period and beyond. It is noted that one of the indisputable advantages of digital technologies is their potential to increase inclusiveness in the field of culture and art by providing people with the opportunity to enjoy content and experiences to which they cannot have direct access. It is emphasised that cultural institutions should be guided by the level of digital skills of members of their community, society, target audience, etc., be aware of the interests, needs and obstacles to engaging in culture and art online, i.e., be inclusive wherever it is needed. The scientific novelty of the results obtained is to clarify the significance (promoting greater involvement of people with different levels of digital skills in digital technologies), potential (increasing involvement in the field of arts and culture) and opportunities (maximising the social benefits of involvement in arts and culture) of digital inclusion in the cultural industries. Conclusions. It is concluded that cultural institutions need to understand how digital services can be used to promote equal access to arts and culture and make a strategic commitment to integrate inclusive digital technologies into their activities.
Мета статті — розкрити значення, потенціал і можливості цифрової інклюзії в культурних індустріях. Для досягнення поставленої мети було застосовано діалектичний метод, необхідний для здійснення культурологічних досліджень, а також загальнонаукові методи аналізу та синтезу. Результати дослідження. Акцентовано, що взаємозв’язок між цифровими технологіями, інноваціями та різноманітністю в культурних і креативних індустріях є вкрай важливою темою дослідження, зважаючи на значущість онлайн-каналів для залучення аудиторії у постпандемічний період і надалі. Зазначено, що однією з незаперечних переваг цифрових технологій є їхній потенціал щодо розширення інклюзивності у сфері культури і мистецтва через надання людям можливості насолоджуватися контентом і враженнями, до яких вони не можуть отримати безпосередній доступ. Наголошено, що культурні інституції мають орієнтуватися в рівні опанування цифрових технологій членами своєї громади, спільноти, цільової аудиторії тощо, бути обізнаними з інтересами, потребами та перешкодами на шляху залучення до культури та мистецтва онлайн, тобто бути інклюзивними усюди, де це потрібно. Наукова новизна одержаних результатів полягає в з’ясуванні значення (сприяння ширшому залученню людей з різним рівнем цифрових навичок до цифрових технологій), потенціалу (посилення залученості до сфери мистецтва та культури) та можливостей (максимізація соціальної користі від залучення до мистецтва та культури) цифрової інклюзії в культурних індустріях. Висновки. Підсумовано, що культурні інституції мають усвідомити, як цифрові послуги можуть використовуватися для сприяння однаковому доступу до мистецтва та культури, і взяти на себе стратегічне зобов’язання щодо впровадження інклюзивних цифрових технологій у свою діяльність.
