نبذة مختصرة : Cilj ovog rada bio je pratiti provođenje deratizacije u mesnoj industriji kroz godinu dana. Deratizacija se provodi postavljanjem zatrovanih mamaka u deratizacijskim kutijama. Deratizacijske kutije je potrebno redovito kontrolirati i nadopunjavati novim mamcima. Aktivnost glodavaca se utvrđuje kontrolom deratizacijskih meka provjeravanjem da li su meke dirane od strane glodavaca ili ne. Osim uporabom otrova, također je vrlo važno mehanički zaštititi objekt od ulaska glodavaca. To se postiže zatvaranjem svih otvora kojim glodavci mogu ući u objekt i prilagodbom okoliša tvornice uvjetima nepovoljnim za glodavce. Cilj praćenja deratizacije je proizvodnja zdravstveno ispravne hrane, te smanjenje rizika od pojave zaraznih bolesti. Prema izvršenim mjesečnim kontrolama je vidljivo da su glodavci prisutni i da je deratizacija uspješna zbog toga što se glodavci hrane otrovom. The goal of this study was to keep track of pest control conduction in meat industry within a year. Pest control is conducted by placing poisoned baits in bait boxes. The boxes are need to be checked regularly and feel with fresh amount of bait. Rodent activity is determined by monitoring bait stations and checking if they touched by rodents. Beside of using poison, it is also very important protect object from entering rodents with mechanical measures. That can be achieved by closing all holes trought wich rodents may enter in the object and by adapting enviromental factors unfavorable for rodents. The goal of monitoring the pest control is to producting food that is healthy and safe, and to reducing the risk of contagious diseases. According to completed monthly controls it is evident that rodents are present and that pest control has been successful because the rodents are eating the poison.
