نبذة مختصرة : The use of GPS for navigation in the city or when travelling is part of everyday life for many people. Indoor navigation, however, presents big challenge because there are not so many cases of usage and the is no standard for it. Nevertheless, some cases exist. The goal of the present Master’s thesis is to develop a guide for museum exhibitions and to implement one of the indoor positioning methods with the use of Beacons and Bluetooth technology. The thesis covers understanding of ubiquitous computing, methods and mathematical foundations for positioning, describing the architecture, operation, and implementation of a museum guide. In conclusion, we also tested the nearest neighbour method and circular lateration, also known as trilateration, in order to check which method can be used for the final version of the application.
Navigacija v prostoru predstavlja zahtevnejši problem in še ni uveljavljena in standardizirana. Kljub temu že obstajajo primeri implementacije in uporabe navigacije v prostoru.
