Delito de deforestación

Este artículo tiene por objetivo analizar el tratamiento jurídico de la deforestación desde diferentes perspectivas. En primer lugar, se precisarán las disposiciones jurídico-ambientales que regulan el uso y la protección de los bosques naturales. A continuación, y frente al aumento de la deforestación en el país, se presentarán las diferentes estrategias y acciones que se han adoptado en el marco de esta problemática, para finalizar con la revisión de la criminalización de la deforestación This article aims to analyze the legal treatment of deforestation from different perspectives. First, we will specify the legal-environmental provisions that regulate the use and protection of natural forests, understood as the protected legal asset. Next, and in the face of the increase in deforestation in the country, we will present the strategies and actions adopted against this issue. Finally, will review the criminalization of deforestation through the analysis of the new crimes created under Law 2111 of 2021.
