نبذة مختصرة : This article proposes a reading of Kant’s Dog and the way that philosophy and literature are at stake in this book under the light of the problem of the relationship between identity and difference as addressed in Kantian criticism. It focuses on two particular ways that this relationship and tension between identity and difference is expressed and considered in Kant’s Can: a) conceptual unity and sensible multiplicity; b) the identity of the self and temporality.
