The Influence of Romanticism on Eugene O’Neill’s Ecological Awareness

With the popularity of ecocriticism, Eugene O’Neill’s ecological awareness has become a new target for many researchers. O’Neill inherited much nutrition from traditional Western philosophy, especially romanticism, which provides an access for O’Neill to observe nature and contemplate the relationship between man and nature.
