نبذة مختصرة : Silver nanoparticles were obtained using a green synthesis method. The process of formation of silver nanoparticles in bast (hemp and flax) fiber extracts was studied. The relationship between the efficiency of the silver ion reduction and the content of impurities in the extract was established. The size of the resultant particles was determined by photon correlation spectroscopy. It was shown that the antimicrobial activity of the synthesized sols and of the silver-treated cellulose fabric toward the test cultures was dependent on the synthesis conditions.
