نبذة مختصرة : Dissomphalus iracema Colombo & Azevedo sp. nov. (Figs 51���55) Description. Male. Head and mesosoma black; metasoma dark castaneous. Mandible with four apical teeth; median clypeal lobe tridentate, median tooth rounded, with the posterior and lateral sides high and the lower anterior and central regions, dustpan-shaped; frons strongly coriaceous, punctate, eyes glabrous with few bristles. Notauli complete; pronotal disc strongly coriaceous. Metasomal tergite II with lateral depression composed of tuber with wide fovea, thick and conspicuous bristles directed backwards on the border of each depression. Posterior hypopygeal margin straight. Genitalia: paramere with weakly rounded apex, slightly arched inward, very wide, specially basally, higher than basiparamere; basivolsella very wide, straight; aedeagal ventral ramus as long as dorsal body, apex rounded, laminar, curved dorsally; aedeagal dorsal body with three pair of apical lobes, outer pair sickle-shaped, small, curved dorsally, inner pair wide, arched inward, dorsal pair wide, apex rounded, curved dorsally; basal process absent; apodeme extending beyond genital ring. Female unknown. Remarks. This species belongs to the setosus species-group by having the tergal process with lateral depression with one pair of tubercles, and the lateral margin setose. It is not similar to any other species of its species-group. It is different mainly by having the mandible with four apical teeth, the basivolsella very wide, the aedeagal dorsal body with the outer pair of the apical lobe sickle-shaped, and the inner pair curved dorsally.
