نبذة مختصرة : The work consists of a translation of the NE with an interpretive essay and other ancillary matter. The translation aims at a literal version, seeking as far as possible to translate each Greek term by a single English equivalent; this policy produces pervasively unnatural renderings of certain key expressions. The interprettive essay includes the controversial claim that Aristotle’s doctrine of happiness commits him to belief in the post-mortem survival of the agent.
