      A 2-rowed feed barley named Atlanta has been developed at the Canada Agriculture Research Station, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Its parentage is Anoidium/Montcalm*3/2/Herta/Br M57-754/3/Hellas. In trials conducted in Eastern Canada from 1970 to 1976 Atlanta was superior in yield and lodging to other 2-rowed varieties. Seed of most classes will be available in 1978.
