Ereğli (Zonguldak) ilçesinde geçiş dönemleri (Doğum, evlenme, ölüm)

Halk kültürünün bir parçası olarak bilinen gelenekler, insan hayatında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Geçiş dönemleri üzerine yapılan âdetler de kültürümüzün bir parçası hâline gelmiş, bizi biz yapan değerlerdir. Bu tezde temel geçiş dönemleri olan doğum, evlenme ve ölüm âdetleri üzerine Ereğli (Zonguldak) yöresindeki uygulamalara yer verilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda söz konusu yörenin bazı köy ve mahallelerinde alan araştırması yapılarak doğum, evlenme ve ölüm üzerine eski ve günümüz âdetleri gün yüzüne çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Böylece geçiş dönemleriyle ilgili geçmişten günümüze yapılan âdetler karşılaştırılmış, eski âdetlerden hangilerinin devam ettirildiği, hangilerinin yapılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda söz konusu geleneklerin unutulmasının önüne geçilmesi ve gelecek nesillere taşınması amaçlanmıştır. Kaynak şahıslardan mülâkat sırasında alınan derlemeler, başka araştırıcıların da kullanabilmesi amacıyla metin olarak verilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda çalışmayla ilgili tespit edilen sonuçlar değerlendirilmiş, yörede yapılan saha araştırmasındaki kaynak şahısların fotoğraflarına ve çalışmayla ilgili faydalanılan kaynaklara yer verilmiştir. Transitions, known as part of folk culture, have an important place in human life. The customs made on the transition periods have become a part of our culture and are the values that make us who we are. In this thesis, the applications in the region of Ereğli (Zonguldak) on birth, marriage and death periods, which are the main transition periods, are given. In this direction, some villages and neighborhoods of the region in question by doing field research on birth, marriage and death on the old and present-day customs were tried to be brought to light. Thus, the customs of the transition periods from the past to the present were compared and it was found out which of the old customs were maintained and which ones were not. In this direction, it is aimed to prevent the forgetting of these traditions and to move them to future generations. Compilations taken from the source during the interview are given as text so that other researchers can use them us well. At the end of the study, the results of the study were evaluated and the photographs of the source persons in the field survey and the resources used in the study were given.Key Words: Zonguldak, Ereğli, transition periods, birth, marriage, death.
