Mobil eğitim teknolojisi olarak tablet bilgisayarın etkin öğrenim amaçlı kullanımı: Özel ortaöğretim kurumları üzerine bir araştırma

Today's society in which the information is valuable, is called as information society or information age. İt is possible with the education, the vital base for everything, to keep up with this society in today's life where the information is really important. We see the effects of technology on all areas these days. İt cannot be ignored that technology is related with social, political, economical and educational developments. We see the opportunities, benefits, practicality and problems appearing due to the integration of technology into lifelong education process, starting from learning- teaching process to all areas of education. While in the traditional learning-teaching process the learner is the one who listens to and memorizes the information communicated by the teacher and has a passive role, in today's world it is one of the goal of educational system to make the learner become the one who searches for discusses, thinks creatively and critically and is active. Today mobile learning that solves the time and location-based problems, make it easy to reach the content ant to personalize the content is widely preferred. Bilginin değerli olduğu günümüzdeki toplum, bilgi toplumu, enformasyon toplumu, bilgi çağı olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Bilginin ön plana çıktığı günümüzde bu toplumu yakalayabilmemiz her şeyin zemini olan eğitim ile mümkündür. Teknoloji bugünlerde tüm alanlarda kullanılarak etkisini göstermektedir. Sosyal, politik, ekonomik ve eğitim alanındaki değişimlerin teknoloji ile ilişkili olduğu yadsınamaz. Günümüzde yaşam boyu devam eden eğitim sürecinde teknolojinin entegre edilmesiyle meydana getirdikleri imkanları, yararları, kolaylığı ve sorunları öğrenme-öğretme sürecinde başlayarak her çeşit eğitim alanında görmekteyiz. Geleneksel öğrenme-öğretme sürecinde öğrenen öğreten tarafından aktarılan bilgileri dinleyen, ezberleyen pasif konuma sahip iken çağımızda tartışan, araştıran, yaratıcı, eleştirel düşünebilen, aktif öğrenen konuma getirmesi eğitim sistemin büyük hedeflerindendir. Zaman ve mekan sorunlarını ortadan kaldırması, içeriğe kolay erişimin sağlanması, içeriğin kişiselleştirebilmesi gibi birçok avantajları sağlayan mobil öğrenme artık günümüzde tercih edilen öğrenme sistemidir.
