نبذة مختصرة : Based on Nieves Herrero's novel of the same name, Telecinco premiered on November 22, 2016 a miniseries with Ramón Serrano Suñer and the Marquise de Llánzol, Sonsoles de Icaza, as indisputable stars. Although it's based on real facts and characters, the emphasis on an impossible love story, as well as its limited historical rigor have earned it numerous criticisms. This is the reason for the present article: a detailed analysis of this show as an example of the television banalization of the Franco regime, because both the figure of Serrano Suñer and its context appear distorted. Next, we proceed to a study and contrast the facts described there (the fiction) with what really happened (Documented History) Basada en la novela de Nieves Herrero del mismo nombre, Telecinco estrenaba el 22 de noviembre de 2016 una miniserie con Ramón Serrano Suñer y la Marquesa de Llánzol, Sonsoles de Icaza, como estrellas indiscutibles.[1] Aunque parte de hechos y personajes reales, el énfasis en una historia de amor imposible, así como su escaso rigor histórico le han valido numerosas críticas. Es motivo del presente artículo un análisis detallado de la serie como ejemplo de la banalización televisiva del franquismo, pues tanto la figura de Serrano Suñer como su contexto aparecen desvirtuados. Procedemos a continuación a un estudio para contrastar los hechos allí descritos (la ficción) con lo ocurrido realmente (la historia documentada).
