Association of patient characteristics with chemotherapy receipt among depressed and non-depressed patients with non-small cell lung cancer.

The article presents a study that examined the connection between patient characteristics and chemotherapy receipt among depressed and non-depressed patients with advanced stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in the U.S. The study found that 16% of advanced stage NSCLC patients were diagnosed with depression and 36% of them received chemotherapy.
