      An interview with Richard Kolodner, branch cancer geneticist at the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) is presented. When asked about the reason for staying with CPRIT after many member resignations, he refers to the relief provided by budget from the National Institutes of Health after decline of federal funds for scientific research. He believes that leadership testing will prevent previous problems. He thinks that CPRIT's future is secured with capable reviewers.
