Movements of the Soul: Traversing Animism, Fetishism, and the Uncanny.

An essay is presented on the concept of the animism which was practiced in the Western territories during the second of the 19th century. It states that the concept has been used to describe the religious attitudes of the primitive people through the philosophical discourses of philosophers Aristotle and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. Moreover, it also mentions the philosophical doctrine of philosopher Edward Tylor titled "Primitive Culture" which is devoted to the principles of animism.
