Wall Street Comes to Aid of Organized Farmers.

The article discusses how farm co-operative Sun-Maid Raisin Growers Association obtained the confidence of investors and a 5,500,000 loan on a purely business basis. The loan was the first agricultural bond issued in Wall Street and transformed raisin growing into a modern industry. Ralph Merritt organized the association which was later on composed of 15,000 members who were able to raise funds to extensively market their products.
