The clinical records of 38 cases of 143 consultations granted during pandemic influenza by ASW-H INI all of them have been treated in the Hospital Los Angeles of Puebla in 2009. Were reviewed to ascertain their clinical and epidemiological characteristics and cor-relate this information with other authors of this country. The diagnosis was made in all through the evidence: quick test by monoclonal antibodies against influenza virus type A/B and then confirmed by the «chain reaction of the polymerase» during the period between September 17, 2009 at the 21 April 2010. The predominant symptoms were fever, odynophagia, nasal congestion with headache and cough. All of these were treated with one of the antiviral medications suggested and recommended by the CDC (oseltamivir) with excel-lent response to treatment; in them were taken different measures of prevention and containment of the disease. Los expedientes de 38 casos de 143 consultas otorgadas durante la influenza pandémica por ASw-H INI, todos atendidos en el Hospital Angeles de Puebla en 2009, fueron revisados con objeto de conocer sus características clínicas y epidemiológicas y cotejar esta informa-ción con la de otros autores de este país. En los casos atendidos en el hospital, entre otros con manifestaciones de influenza, se comprobó que la influenza ASw-H INI a estuvo presente en los casos mencionados; todos ellos tuvieron sintomatología aguda sin haber consultado antes un médico y sin haber recibido antes ningún medicamento. El diagnóstico en todos se hizo mediante la pruebas rápida por anti-cuerpos monoclonales contra virus de influenza tipo A/B y luego confirmados por la «reacción en cadena de la polimerasa» durante el lapso comprendido entre el 17 de septiembre de 2009 al 21 de abril de 2010. Los síntomas predominantes fueron: fiebre, odinofagia, congestión nasal con cefalea y tos. Todos éstos fueron tratados con uno de los antivirales sugeridos y recomendados por los CDC (osel-tamivir) con excelente respuesta al tratamiento; en ellos se tomaron diferentes medidas de prevención y contención de la enfermedad.
