Integrating Entrepreneurship Education into Vocational and Technical Education Curricula.

The economic well being of the people of Guyana like other nations is of great concern. All over the world, the current trend is for the governments of nations to divorce themselves from the productive sector of their economy. They thus facilitate and assist private individuals in the productive sector. Therefore to promote the economic well being of the people of Guyana, this paper identified Entrepreneurship Education as a discipline that should be integrated into Vocational Technical Education programmes since both disciplines aim at producing persons with entrepreneurial skills that would enable them to be productively self reliant. Integrating Entrepreneurship Education into Vocational and Technical Education programmes, will help to improve the quality of students and will lead to high productivity in the business world.
