      The article focuses on the organizational achievements of the Association of Library Services for Children (ALSC) from 2002 to 2003. ALSC released the inaugural issue of "Children and Libraries" in May 2003, replacing the "Journal of Youth Services in Libraries." During the same period, the ALSC revamped its web site design and e-mail lists. The organization is also preparing for The 21st Century Learner national symposium to be held from September 18 to 19, 2003. It is also continuing to provide support for the ALSC/PLA Early Literacy Initiative.
