      The article presents information on how several school districts in the U.S. revamped their curricula, got their teachers on board, and also how they are handling assessments. the Joplin School System in Joplin, Missouri took the opportunity of reinventing itself after a tornado devastated the school in 2011. A discussion with the teachers on curriculum developments revealed that the teachers wanted to use Blackboard as their learning management system (LMS) although some teachers use moodle.
