      Developing a curriculum in accordance with the National Education Philosophy is essential in that it reflects the image of the nation. This paper describes the relevance of the objectives of Islamic education of the polytechnic curriculum as to whether it is in line with the National Education Philosophy. Document analysis was found appropriate for this study. The documents analyzed were the Polytechnic Islamic education curriculum as well as the National Education Philosophy. A total of 108 items of the Islamic Education Curriculum Polytechnic were found to be relevant to the National Education Philosophy. This study used Kappa coefficient scale to assess agreement of experts on this matter. The findings show that the objectives of Islamic Education were relevant with the National Education Philosophy. Thus, major changes to the Polytechnic Islamic Education Curriculum are not necessary. Implications of this study were to ensure that the curriculum of Islamic education met current demands.
