      The article examines methods for measuring artificial intelligence (AI) to research the development of supercomputers. The author states that previous tests for measuring machine intelligence, such as the Turing test, Linguistic Complexity, and Psychometric AI, only test human equivalence and do not accurately reflect the overall intelligence of a machine. He describes the development of a "universal intelligence" test in which assessments are based on algorithmic information theory and complexity theory. The benefits of this test include the ability to create individualized challenges, results can be derived with minimal interaction, and subjects are not required to understand language.
