      The article reports on research which was conducted using an evidence-based approach to investigate the role and efficacy of implementing an electronic reader loan service at McGill University Library in Canada. In the article the authors offer their thoughts on the lending model and electronic reader device features which best meet the needs of library clients. The role that electronic readers play in library technology that facilitates the ideals of mobile learning is examined.
