The Cataracts of Education.

The article presents the author's views on the value of self-reflection on education and child learning. The author states that self-reflection rises the child above the boundary experience and urges oneself through interior narrative. The author mentions that resolution of a series of dilemmas is required in each developmental stage of children and schools effect transformations in self-reflections. The author also claims that failure of teachers and counselors to see and hear the children may mean the end of listening to people, hearing people, and genuinely seeing them which are essential to education.
