HathiTrust Libraries Map a Shared Path: A Turning Point in Information Access.

In this article the author reflects on the HathiTrust and on the establishment of the HathiTrust digital repository. She suggests that the HathiTrust and its repository have become game changers in the areas of print and digital materials, prospective and retrospective holdings, general and special collections, publishers and libraries. She argues that in 2012 HathiTrust is ready to facilitate the wide sharing of resources and leverage the combination of all formats of those resources.
